Convicting power of Prayer!

Every time you humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, and pray! You actually release the presence of the Almighty…now the whole kingdom of darkness is trembling, because the Hand of the LORD is heavy upon them!

(1 Samuel 5:1) And the Philistines took the ark of God and brought it from Ebenezer to Ashdod.

(1 Samuel 5:2) When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon and set it next to Dagon.

(1 Samuel 5:3) And when those of Ashdod arose early the next day, behold, Dagon was fallen on his face to the earth before the ark of Jehovah. So they took Dagon and put him back on his place.

(1 Samuel 5:4) And when they arose early the next day, there was Dagon, fallen on his face to the ground before the ark of Jehovah. The head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were broken off on the threshold; only Dagon’s torso was left to him.

(1 Samuel 5:5) Therefore neither the priests of Dagon nor any who come into Dagon’s house tread on the threshold of Dagon in Ashdod to this day.

(1 Samuel 5:6) And the hand of Jehovah was heavy upon those of Ashdod, and He ravaged them and struck them with tumors, both Ashdod and its territories.

(1 Samuel 5:7) And when the men of Ashdod saw how it was, they said, The ark of the God of Israel must not remain with us, for His hand has been severe upon us and Dagon our god.

(1 Samuel 5:8) Therefore they sent and gathered to themselves all the rulers of the Philistines, and said, What shall we do with the ark of the God of Israel? And they answered, Let the ark of the God of Israel be brought to Gath. So they brought around the ark of the God of Israel.

(1 Samuel 5:9) And so it was, after they had brought it around, that the hand of Jehovah was against the city with a very great destruction; and He struck the men of the city, both small and great, and tumors broke out on them.

(1 Samuel 5:10) Therefore they sent the ark of God to Ekron. So it was, as the ark of God came to Ekron, that the Ekronites cried out, saying, They have brought around the ark of the God of Israel to us, to kill us and our people!

(1 Samuel 5:11) So they sent and gathered together all the rulers of the Philistines, and said, Send away the ark of the God of Israel, and let it go back to its own place, so that it does not kill us and our people. For there was a death panic throughout all the city, because the hand of God had been very heavy there.

(1 Samuel 5:12) And the men who had not died were stricken with tumors, and the cry of the city went up to the heavens.

What a power! Our God is Alive…

(John 16:8) And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

(John 16:9) concerning sin, because they do not believe into Me;

(John 16:10) concerning righteousness, because I go to My Father and you no longer see Me;

(John 16:11) concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.

In the name of Jesus! Let us-as the Church!

Pray! Pray! And Pray…

(Acts 19:1) And it happened, while Apollos was at Corinth, that Paul, having passed through the upper regions, came to Ephesus. And finding some disciples

(Acts 19:2) he said to them, Since you believe, did you receive the Holy Spirit? And they said to him, We have not so much as heard whether there is a Holy Spirit.

(Acts 19:3) So he said to them, Into what then were you immersed? And they said, Into John’s immersion.

(Acts 19:4) Then Paul said, John indeed immersed with an immersion of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.

(Acts 19:5) When they heard this, they were immersed in the name of the Lord Jesus.

(Acts 19:6) And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied.

(Acts 19:7) Now the men were about twelve in all.

(Acts 19:8) And he went into the synagogue and spoke boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading concerning the things of the kingdom of God.

(Acts 19:9) But when some were hardened and did not obey, but spoke evil of the Way before the multitude, he departed from them and separated the disciples, reasoning daily in the school of a certain Tyrannus.

(Acts 19:10) And this continued for two years, so that all who dwelt in Asia heard the Word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.

(Acts 19:11) Now God worked unusual works of power through the hands of Paul,

(Acts 19:12) so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out from them.

(Acts 19:13) Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, We command you by Jesus whom Paul preaches.

(Acts 19:14) Also there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so.

(Acts 19:15) And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I am acquainted with; but who are you?

(Acts 19:16) Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them and subdued them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

(Acts 19:17) This became known to all, both Jews and Greeks dwelling in Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.

(Acts 19:18) And many who had believed came confessing and telling their deeds.

(Acts 19:19) Also, many of those who had practiced magic brought their books together and burned them in the sight of everyone. And they counted up the value of them, and found it to be fifty thousand pieces of silver.

(Acts 19:20) So the Word of the Lord grew mightily and was powerful.
